Today I woke up to a happy tank and out of
the blue the water has gone pretty cloudy. A few of my SPS have started showing mesenterial filaments (either stressed or eating?) I did test my params this morning as I do every Monday and KH plus PO4 were normal. I’ve had cloudy burst like this before but this is the first time I’ve seen a reaction from the corals? All the LPS seem ok, some of the other acros have retracted polyps.

Is this a bacterial bloom or a snail spawned? And will the acros be ok? They’ve been thriving recently.

possibly a bloom. can always send out an ICP to rule trace elements deficiency out?
It’s almost clear again, that was a crazy few hours. I noticed my chromis going nuts feeding around the water column so I’m thinking this might have been a snail spawn event.
