I have a small rock with clove polyps on it. I want to bring it over to my new tank but there is almost as much hair algae as coral on it.
Can I dip the rock/corals/algae in a 3% Hydrogen Peroxide solution to kill the algae, or will I end up killing as much coral as algae?
Not saying that's a dealbreaker, they both grow like weeds.

It works for me, four parts tank water one part 3% Hydrogen Peroxide and around five minutes or less and remove as much as you can by hand and scrub algae only areas with toothbrush.

Not “Blue Clove Polyps” right?
They're pink and while rather pretty have expressed their desire to escape their rock island by trying to grow on anything that comes nearby.
I was thinking of mounting them to the back wall but I've realized they'd take over the tank inside a year.
