My clove polps are growing like crazy. Is there a way to thin them out without killing colony?

Smother them with epoxy or kalk paste. They will just come back in force though. You can brush them back with a toothbrush but I think it just makes them mad and they spread more.

No they are a tannish color. Can the not be cut?

Yea just cut the bace if u leave a little bit they will grow smaller I had a big 137 peace colony befor the tank crash last year

These polps grow faster than algae lol. Don't want to pull rock hoping i could trim some of them off with scissors.
