Clown attacking torch coral!

My clown is hosted by an anemone and I noticed it has just started nipping the ends of my torch coral. I presume its perceiving it as a threat? Any suggestions on how to stop this?

clowns mouth it to get use to the sting. Clowns won't do much damage to an Euphyllia than the do to anemones. mine is hosted by a frogspawn and mouthed it for a few weeks before he accepted it as his new home

Are you able to provide a link so that I can read up on this? I've always been curious as to why they do this, but was never able to find a credible answer.
