Do clown fish eat their own eggs? My ossilarus clowns laid eggs and I left and came home and now their gone. Their very protective of their area could another fish in my tank of ate them?

They will eat them if the batch is bad or gone bad. Just wait a couple of weeks and they will probably lay again. Mine did it every 12-14 days for 2 years like clockwork.
