Clown fish not eating after QT cycle

Hi. So I had a velvet outbreak that killed all of my fish but one clown even after transferring everything to my QT tank. I let the DT set fishless for about 120 days and kept the one surviving clown in the QT tank. He was eating fine in nutramar in the QT tank. I put him back into the DT about a week ago and I haven’t seen him eat at all since going back into the main tank. I’ve tried the nutramar and frozen mysis with selcon. I can pull water parameters when I get home. What should I do to try to get him to eat again? Should I try putting him back into the copper QT tank?

Is he lethargic? Colors ok? Is he being bullied? Could be stress. Try using some focus and garlic on the food. Can we see him? Could be so many factors..

Definitely lethargic. Colors are great. No chance of him being bullied as he’s the only fish in the tank lol. I’ve tried garlic power. Haven’t tried metro or focus. Will try that today. I can take pictures when I get home in an hour or two.

I had a brief period where my clowns didn't seem to eat anything. I tried 5 or 6 different frozen foods, with and without garlic, etc. It wasn't until I tried PE Calanus that they started to go nuts over food again. After I figured that out, I would just add some to other food to slowly get them back to eating other stuff.

One of mine hangs out in the corners too. He may be a little stressed. I would definitely check water parameters to make sure nothing is off. Just ammonia, nitrates and nitrites. And Salinity for sure.

Whats the white spec on his fin? Does it look like Ich?

Ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates are all zero. Tank sat without fish for 4.5 months so nutrient bottomed out. Salinity 1.026. Calcium 430. Magnesium 1320. Alk 8.9.

The white ones his fin is just color it seems. Not distinguishable bump or spec like it were ich or velvet or anything.

Ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates are all zero. Tank sat without fish for 4.5 months so nutrient bottomed out. Salinity 1.026. Calcium 430. Magnesium 1320. Alk 8.9.

The white ones his fin is just color it seems. Not distinguishable bump or spec like it were ich or velvet or anything.

Ok. Just leave him where he is and try the focus binder with garlic. It may stimulate his appetite. Let me know how it goes. It sounds like stress..

You just changed his home last week after 4 months out.

Maybe he snacks when your not looking?

I know this thread is old at this point. But the clown is still alive but still just as lethargic and still will not eat anything I’ve tried. (I assume being that it’s been months he’s eating something when I’m not watching). I’ve tried mysis, brine, cyclops, mega marine, rods, TDO pellets, nutrimar pellets. Nothing. He doesn’t even look at the food. I moved him to a new cycled that I test everyday and holding solid parameters. I did that assuming maybe something in the other main tank he was unhappy with. But he is maintaining the same behavior and lack of appetite in this new tank.

Do you have any thoughts or recommendations?
