Hi all,
Yesterday I noticed my clown hosting my Duncan. Or at least I think that is what is happening.

Any danger in that? Will it harm my Duncan. Anything I should be doing? I will post a video.

I appreciate any advice. Thank you.

This has been going on for a couple years with out any problems.

When my anemone, I should say *their* anemone walked behind the aquascape. The clowns played in a huge green toadstool until the nem decided to crawl back out and rejoin tank society!

Thats great. She does not seem to be nipping at it just rubbing on it. I do not think its being too aggressive but I just noticed this happening yesterday. I like the symbiosis if it truly is happening. Would be nice if the clown feeds my duncan. lol

They probably already do! I know my female clown randomly feeds my big toadstool... guess to her it has a similar appearance to a nem.

I feel like my clowns gravitate towards anything but anemones. My first pair loved my big green toadstool.

It's not surprising if that's what is happening in your case!

My clownfish love the Duncan coral. It’s never retracted over the last year they’ve been hosting it and it went from 3 heads to probably 20. I wouldn’t worry about it.

Host is the coral but regardless, clowns are dumb and will dive into (as in my case) GSP, Duncan, Euphyllia, zoa and even elegance coral. If you gave them a stick of dynamite, they'd probably try to bond with it too

lol. Thanks all.

Great to hear your Duncan was not adversely affected.
I appreciate everyone’s feedback.
These events make the aquarium fascinating.

Well maybe my clown is being a little aggressive.
Hope this is not permanent.
