What makes it a gladiator vs a Picasso?

From what I understand it is the connected white bar that goes across the head, like a gladiator helmet.

This one is from ORA as a gladiator

And this is a Picasso

Picasso's always have a puzzle piece looking band and they are three separate stripes.
