Hi,
I would like to setup a divider tank for clownfish breeding.
I was wondering if a 6x12x12 inch area is enough for a pair each.

Main interest is percula family and clarkii type.

Also, do you use pot, or tile. Do I need to remove them pre-hatch, or try to catch the fry after hatch.

Please give me some advise.

Thanks.

Need no less than a 5 gallon space per pair, as they don’t do much east to west swimming. (They really don’t leave the home much). I’m a fan of the pot but you can absolutely have great success with tile as well!! I remove my eggs the night before they hatch and place them in a 10gal hatch tank (three sides completely blacked out), heater (set to brood stock tank temp) and an air stone running over the eggs very very very gently. Then hatch night I add the rots and tint the water and let them go till morning! EZPZ!
