Clownfish breeding

Hello
I’m looking for a clownfish breeder to help me with breeding clownfish or has clownfish to sale that mated. I’m trying to get into clownfish breeding and learn everything about that subject so if anyone could help me on this journey on giving advice or on helping me breed clownfish please do so!!

The two most important things you need:
A mated pair and 7 -10 days of fresh rotifers.
That’s 80% of the battle.

Yup, if you want good numbers of fry per hatch to make it to the metamorphosis stage, live rotifers, gut loaded with selcon, omega 3 and phyto are needed in my experience.

Old post, I know... but i was looking for something but I noticed your reply. Are you saying that you gutload your rotifers with selcon? How are you doing that and what omega 3? I breed and have only fut loaded ny rots with phyto. Ive never heard of them being fed selcon and omega 3? What is your feeding schedule and amounts? Im curious how much better this is than just phyto. Thanks

4 hours before using rotifers, they live in a glass beakers with 1-2 drops Selcon, 3 drops fish oil, and a dash of live phyto.

Rotifers take up this solution, then the “enriched” food item is fed.

Rotifers alone are not high nutrients but we can use their soft bodies to “deliver” a better meal.
