Hello,
It seems that my female clown is getting nippy with my male. I noticed this afternoon that his breathing rate was faster than normal and saw something fleshy under his mouth. I decided it would be best to isolate him to get a better look, and it looks like a pretty nasty wound to his gills. Additionally, the surrounding area looks red and inflamed.
I think the best route would be to quarantine him and treat with kanamycin, but figured it best to ask for some other opinions, given how severe a wound to the gills can become. I definitely don’t want to overlook any potential problems.
The first few images are from the front/side and the last three are from the bottom up. Sorry for the suboptimal pictures—clownfish can make it so difficult!!

Yes - it looks like a bacterial infection - who knows whether there was a fight/injury before. I would use kanamycin per dosage in a hospital tank.
