Just witnessed my clownfish take a nibble from my mandarin and horribly regret his decision. He bolted everywhere in the tank looking like he was gasping until he spit up a piece of blue fin. He looks fine now but I hope he learns his lesson. Mandarin just went about his business lol.

Yup, kind of why no one picks on them. Their slime coat is thick, and does not taste well. Could almost be poisonous, but I'm not sure on that one.

I was freaking out when I seen my clown flashing and gasping frantically because he literally was fine 5 seconds before I turned my back. It was when he spit out a piece of blue fin that I realized and thought, dummy, why you taking a bite outta that horrible tasting fish?!
