My clownfish is acting like it is cracked out. I went to clean my tank, and I was like oh darn. I don't see one of my clownfish. It pops out while I put the algae scraper in. Well while scrubbing the sides it trys to attack me (normal). Then it bolts to the bottom to lay on the sand for a second. Anyways he looks a bit damaged. And is acting like he is cracking out on drugs, twitching and bolting in different directions everywhere.
Other (normal) clownfish is chilling like he is Bob Marley .
I just added an aquamaxx skimmer hang on back last night, I set up my refugium last week.

If anyone has any tips?

Parameters normal. Age of tank (5 months), just added skimmer to lower keep tank nutrients at bay. I feed frozen. Fish are about 4 months old. Trying to get a picture, but now it is hiding in a small cave.

He may just be ticked off that you messed with his house. Do you see any fin damage or spots? Is he breathing exceptionally hard or gulping air at the surface?

Look up velvet. Looks a little like it. Though the photo is not close up. Also have you added anything to your tank recently that is wet? Snails, rocks etc.

Is it the larger of the two clowns in the picture? It looks like it has cloudy fins and a stringy feces. I couldn't see anything in the video, can you get a clearer one?

This could be stress from trying to drive you out of its territory, but it could also have a disease issue, I can't tell at this point.

Update, I have separated him into a breeder net box, to prevent it from further injuring itself. I may have stressed it out after adding the protein skimmer and power head.. As it kept banging it's head against the rock in the cave. I realized that it was flashing. It has some damage around it's head. I am hoping to prevent swim bladder, he is still stressed and swimming. My tank has alot of tiny white particles in that photo from cleaning the tank, and he was too fast to get a better photo.

Last update, released fish from breeding box. Fish is back to normal, has some visible damage from self-inflicted injures around head.

Looks very much like brooklynella, especially what appears to be white film/mucus on face and body.
Any side pics under white light?

I am sorry for your loss. I also feel it could have been velvet or brook. If other fish begin to act strange you may want to treat them accordingly. Thanks for the update.
