So I'm a totally devastated, my black female clown managed to jump through a small gap at the back of my tank cover last night. I had the two of them very young from 6 months ago, and they were paired up.

If I add a new clown will it pair up with the one I have left?

How best do I approach replacing, bearing in mind the QT time, is it best to replace as soon as or wait?

It’s always 50/50 with an addiction
If any aggression, place existing clown in acclimation box 10-14 days

Same thing happened to me. Managed to get a juvenile (within a week) and let him acclimate in my acclimation box for about 3 weeks. Now, after 9 months…..they’re inseparable. GL
