Hello everyone,
I just added two clownfish about a week and a half ago to my 13.5g nano reef tank (after fishless cycling). Over the past few days I have noticed that my larger clownfish has been increasingly inactive. Yesterday I noticed a very thin white string about 1-2 cm long hanging from him. Nevertheless, he was still very active during feeding times. Today he has taken a large turn for the worse and is swimming near the bottom corner of the tank not moving around much at all. My other clownfish appears to be acting normally. Is it too late to save him or should I begin treatments? Any advice would be appreciated.
Pic of Fish (sorry for bad quality, he is at the back of the tank):
