CO2 scrubber sizing help.

Good evening! I have a question regarding co2 scrubber sizing.

Im trying to purchase an IceCap co2 scrubber, but my sump is limited due to the other mechanical media. Total gallons including sump, 90 gallons.

Does the size of a C02 scrubber needs to be measured by the size of the tank? Just like a skimmer, uv, roller, lights, etc.
im trying to get the smallest one possible.

Get the largest co2 scrubber possible. This will help out, so you won't have to change the media so frequently. I use the aqua forest scrubber. You could run the scrubber on the exterior of the stand.

I just dont have the height for a 7.5+ inch tall scrubber. And no way im putting equipment next to the tank. It either fits inside the sump or NO NO :face-with-hand-over-mouth: .
So the only difference would be how often i would be changing the media?
