I am fighting high nitrates in my tank. I have tried a number of products without success. One recent product I tried is called total nitrate by Cobalt Aquatics. Doesn’t seem to do anything and I am wondering if it’s how I am using it. Anyone use the product successful .

Doenst work or has very very limited results in a salt water tank . This is due to chloride ion competing with the nitrate absorbing ones . Incoming " do water changes" LOL

Try carbon dosing, Algae turf scrubber, cheato refugium or sulfur reactor. Dont band-aid it (water changes) fix it with more export.

Have you had much luck yet with any particular product or process, since you posted this? Curious since I am having the same issue and constant water changes is getting a bit much for me

I finally broke down and started running a sulfur reactor. All the other products did nothing. I started the Sulfur reactor on 9 June and Nitrates running in the high 30 and low 40. I now have a constant nitrate between 9 and 10. It takes many weeks to get the reactor up and running successfully and it’s still not 100 percent but it fell I am 85 percent there. It’s definitely not a cheap solution but once it up there virtually zero maintenance except adjusting the drip rate to fine tune.

Best of luck. There are a few good videos on setting up. The key is patience as it took me over 3 weeks until I saw any results and you have to start with about 1 drip per sec coming from reactor
