Hello All, just bought this pump and the mfgr says 5/8" tubing. I went down to the local HD and bought some 5/8" X 7/8" OD Vinyl tubing and the tubing is too thick to work with the locknuts? Barbs on the pump work well with the 5/8 tubing. Has anyone run into this prob, can we use a different type of thin wall tubing that is Reefsafe?

Thanks wrimda

Well did not get any answers, but I went back to HD and the clerk found some thin wall vinyl tubing same ID and OD was 3/4" and it works on the pump
As designed.
