Yep, the brown out, ended up being a small tank crash. Lost about half my acros, but this guy hung in there and is starting to color back up.

Ah. Gotcha. Was that a bike event out just a group ride?
It’s a bike/camping weekend a group of my friends host every year. It’s a guys weekend and they call it “The Crescent Challenge” to make it sound official for when the questions come up as to why we are going to play in the woods for a weekend.
I think I’m at making 5/6 in some way shape or form since I started attending . I believe this is the 21st edition.
Last year with Helene changing the schedule up I only got out for the bonfire party. This year I arrived early Saturday for the bike ride and camped Saturday night. I have young kids so Halloween night is very important to me and my family, so arriving Friday was out of the question.
Pretty proud of the ride I put in this year going from the river to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and back down again on rugged/technical trails. I wasn’t the slowest or the first one to cramp this year. Made a lot of strides since two years ago, when I turned back to camp within the first 3 miles of the ride.

Congrats! Early September we camped at a gravel event. The course is the red line on the air quality map...

Biking and camping are so fun together. I definitely rode some gravel to get to the trails, but once we made it up to the top we stayed on amazing single track all the way down. We were in Mills River NC for the trip. So beautiful. Even saw some nice fall foliage though it had been somewhat spoiled by the rain last week.

Collider, No filter, 11Nov25. Had to get it in now, been gone the last few weeks and leaving tomorrow again for a few more! Not much growth but, total tank neglect while I’m out of town.

I’d hate to see non-tank neglect! Looks healthy with thickened branches and good color to me.
