I have a 48" blade running stand alone on an IM shallow reef 80 gallon. I'm running reef breeders on my RS 625xxl. To get to where you want to be you only would only have to run the blade 50% or less. For that there are much cheaper options out there. The reason I say this is everything I've seen one on a 6ft. tank would get you 250 at 100% at the top of your rocks. My shallow reef is ablaze with just one.

I was planning to add two 12" grows for full coverage.
