Currently have a 180g mixed reef and a 300g round pond. I’m going to be tearing down the 180 and moving over the majority of rock and fish. The only 2 fish I’m concerned about is 2 Sailfin and 2 blue hippo tangs. The lagoon already has a BHT and a large Sailfin. The mixed reef has a similar sized blue hippo, and a much smaller Sailfin.

I believe with the size of the Sailfin, the smaller one will fall in line, but the blue hippos I’m more worried about. I’ll be adding in serval other fish along with them, so not sure if with the size, additional rock scape, and other fish if the blue hippos will separate out and adjust. Thoughts?

I could see some aggression defiantly happening. You could try splitting the tank with egg crate so they each have their own space for a period of time.

Know this is way old but how'd the sailfins work out?
Very well!! They don’t fight each other at all. I rehomed one of the blue hippos, they were both pretty aggressive separately so I didn’t chance it. Several fish got moved over at once, and the 2nd Sailfin was half the size of the other one. Glad I kept them
