Hi Roger
Been a while.
I have a 9004 DC skimmer.
I went to empty the skimmer cup and it was off. No lights nothing.
Thought maybe it was the power supply but I had the same power supply for my Tunze Nano ATO and the same thing with that one.
After several tries I gave up. I actually left it plugged in which I thought I didn't and a few hour later it was running.
Any Ideas what is going on?.

I would open the skimmer, remove the pump, remove the impeller and check everything out, the most plausible would be the pump is jamming up from debris or calcium and this is overloading the power supply causing it to shut down.

That would cause the lights to shut down on the controller?
I tried a different power supply.
It is weird that it just started back up on its own after all light were out..
You would think when I tried a different power supply or just unplugging and replugging it in the lights would have came on for a second or so till if found out the actual pump was having issues.
I will clean it and see how it goes.

The power supply cuts off if there is a load over 1600mA at 12V, if the pump was jamming up and is right at the limit, it could do what you describe.
