Computer Problem, Help Please!!!!!

Happy Fathers Day to all of the dad's out there!!!!!

Anyway I am having problems receiving attachments via email. When I receive an email with an attachment the top of the email states. "OE removed access to the following unsafe attachments in your email"
Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?????

Are you using norton? If so you might need to go into the settings for your virus scanner and tell it not to scan incoming emails...

Could be a lot of things though, but just a though.

No my Norton subscription expired, yea I'm clueless about this one, thanks though........

Try, opening OE. Go to tools, options, click on the security tab. Make sure the Internet zone is checked and make sure the " Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could be a virus" is Unchecked.

It is a common ms security upgrade that happens with automatic updates.
The problem with this,,,, is that it does open you up to a email virus.
Even if you have a anti-virus program that scans for virus's, they are only reactive, none are proactive.
