I have an engineer goby and my large (8"+) serpent star has taken up residence inside the cave (less of a burrow because of the rockwork) my concern with this is that any time i put food at an entrance of the burrow the star crawls over and snatches it up. Is there a way to make it go occupy a different spot in the tank?
Thank you!

Thats why I broadcast feed and let the occupants figure it out. Once you train them all to spot feed like that I find it gets more complicated.
