Concrete quastion

Trying to do epoxy floor in my garage, dont know what im looking at, did pressure wash about week ago. And it looks like moisture is still there. But maybe its not moisture, not sure any more.

That looks like moisture through the expansion gaps! — concrete is porous and will wick water from below it; I usually park my motorcycle on a sheet of 1/8” plastic for this very reason!

You can do a moisture test, they should sell the kit wherever you bought the epoxy for the floor. I’ve seen people tape a piece of plastic to the floor and if you see condensation, you have moisture. But the test kit will give you an exact percentage. As long as it’s below a certain level, you should be able to do your epoxy.

I did the test but I cant use the same test on the extension lines. And that's where I have the moisture, or i think I have the moisture. The test showed no mosture what so ever.

Are those marks actual moisture or is that just the color of the concrete? Is there somewhere you suspect the moisture could be coming from? Sometimes concrete just has different colored areas based on the composition when it was drying.

That looks like coloration issues of the concrete. Home Depot sells humidity testers that are really good if you want to be for sure.

It's hard to tell from here. I epoxied mine a few years ago and it was new concrete, just a few months old so it was kind of wet. So far t is still holding up well.
(thats not me)

I have been thinking about doing my garage finally. (Glad you asked!)

I have never done epoxy on concrete but I like the finished look.

Try using a hair drier on the areas you think is moisture. If the darkness disappears then it moisture. If it stays then it’s just staining.

I think i finally understood what happened, these expension cuts actually went all the way through. So when I pressure washed my garage floor water got trapped between concrete and mosture barrier cover. Now will take weeks to dry probably

Run a fan or two on it 24/7, that will expedite the drying process!

You could also try running a dehumidifier to draw some of the moisture out.
