Reaching out to the folks that are doing daily water changes via a controller. I'm currently planning either to use an apex controller with DOS pump or a Genesis Reef Systems Renew Pro to perform a 1 gallon water change daily on my 93 gallon tank (60 gallon sump, with 20 gallon refugium for a total tank volume of 173g). I have a 32 gallon brute container that I use as my salt water resevoir. My question is are you heating that saltwater to match the display tank? My concern is evap and change in specific gravity relative to the DT. Any thoughts/insight would be appreciated.

I don't heat or aerate my 32g brute... Using the liter meter 3 and doing about 2g per day continuous WC. It's such a small amount out my 220g+ that it hasn't seemed to matter.

Sometimes. When i remember to plug the heater back in. Even when I have it on I never check the temp and I haven't seen any variance in SG. I just know that 14 cups, the way I scoop them, is good for 1.026 for 30g. I check salinity right after mixing and then again with alk before pumping to my grow room storage brute.
