Hello all it seems at least for the last 4 nights comcast is doing something with its internet during the late night hours and around 3 am I seem to lose my internet / wifi for like 10 minutes.
First is there a way or is there a volume control for the alarm on the control 2 or 4 ? Family is not very happy last 4 nights wifi went out and the control alarms and at 3am it is very loud lol saying its not responding see picture.
If no volume control how do I turn off the alarm once its going off.
Everything is still working but communications is stopped thus putting the alarm out.
Getting very annoying.
One way I know is to turn off alarms but that kinda defeats the whole idea of having this.
LMK
Thanks

Ok after looking into this more it seems this is a hydros control issue.
On my 30g I have an inkbird controller and it is very quick to let me know the communication has stopped and is "offline"
This has not happened last 4 days.
So that tells me this is an control 2 issue.
And right now I cant see any of my devices on the hydros app see picture this is all I get.
Anyone else having issues?
So I went and looked under options and time zone and measurements were all wrong so I fixed them and it uploaded and stayed so that tells me the internet on it is working
I have had this for a month almost 2 with no well almost no issues

Everything is working and pumping idk if its just because its plugged in and the control 2 is just a glorified strip plug or what.
Under the tabs everything is just gone like the whole thing was reset.
When the alarm went off the pumps and everything were showing up but now they are not.

So the issue is that your internet went down. The C2 lost connection to the cloud so it alerted you. You do not want this to have an audible alarm? Correct?

To me, losing internet is the least of my worries so I have that as a yellow alarm. It emails me every 5 minutes if this happens. It does not sound the alarm to wake the dead just because of no internet. It also does not text me.

Second issue is that your inputs and I outputs are gone?

I thought I did lose my internet but my inkbird didn't notify me that it was off line so I want to say that I didnt.
It seems as tho the C2 lost communications with my wifi and alarmed. Tne last 4 days at 3am lol.
I dont know where to set the yellow alarm for this. Like you that would be fine just a text or email.
2nd is correct all my setting were gone everything as if someone reset the C2.
I just finished connecting the wifi to the power strips and redoing all the devices.
Also I had made 2 Modes and they are gone.
Just seems as tho it reset to factory settings

No kids in the house and at 3am nobody is messing with it.
My wifi and internet is very protected.
This did happen once on a weekend during the day but it came back online and all the setting were still there.
This morning is the first time all the settings got zapped.

Looked at your notification. Looks like it isn't an internet drop. My internet drops read as:

Device has been offline for too long (since 2021-01-06T18:25:0strip?

This shows my device is not connected to the cloud. The next message comes as "Device connected to the cloud."

Yours refer to "Chris's 30" and "110 top rear". Are those what you named the power strips?

My power strip is named "WiFi Strip" and my email reads as : WiFi Strip: Device Not Responding

That is what I named them top rear top front then on my 30g I have 1 wifi strip.
So yes it does say not responding then sends the alarm for each wifi strip

But those are the names of the strips themselves?

If so:

This should be a fix to stop the audible alarm.

Doesn't fix it being disconnected... so...

Under your notification preferences, make sure that what ever color you set the wifi strip to not to be local. This is how mine is set.

Edit, oops, that was my phone number insent...

So you can't see anything? Can you reconnect them?

What does your wifi device page look like?
