I started out with my 125g Truvu acrylic tank as shown. It had previously been used for saltwater and had a single hole drilled for a bulkhead. I had plugged the hole and had been using the tank for freshwater angelfish.

I built a stand and canopy and had been using an FX6 Fluval canister filter.

Nice Angel tank! Were are the Angels going?

Salt water is a little more challenging but both fun and beautiful!
I sold most of the Angels off and transferred a few to a smaller tank. Agreed, saltwater has been a bigger challenge due to saltwater diseases. Now all my fish are going through a lengthy QT process.

Looking back to your reefing roots: Did you start with Instant Ocean salt?
