Hi Roger & R2R, I hope you are doing well.

I currently have a complete 9415.000 (skimmer) and also a brand new 9430.044 DC (pump).

I would like to upgrade my 9415 to the 9430.

If I purchase the 9430.241 (housing) can the remaining parts transfer over from the 9415 to the 9430 (such as the disc, post-filter, skimmer cup, outlet pipe, etc)?

I would like to order the 9430.241 along with any other parts you advise I need to purchase. I tried to order directly through the website, but could not find an option to 'add to cart'.

Thank you!

The pipe and body are different, everything else is the same, I do have one body and one pipe in stock, you can order anyway, out of stock refers to stock in Europe. Just to be completely transparent, a brand new series of 9430 will launch soon and it is a significant improvement, I am not sure it is worth investing in this upgrade with that in mind-

Thank you Roger! I love the new design. I I've already got the pump (not even taken out of the box). For this, along with the fact that this will be a backup skimmer (to my original 9430 😅) - I'd take the plunge. The next skimmer I buy from you will be the 9460 for a 400 gallon upgrade that hopefully isn't too far past the horizon. I'm excited to see your redesigned version of this.

Thank you as always, and take care.

9460 will basically get 2 of the new pumps but the new 9430 could handle the 400, I would not do a 9460. I use the older 9430 updated with a beta test version of the pump and it can outstrip my 265 if I am not careful.

Thanks for taking the time to reply Roger - that's absolutely nuts! You think the 9430 even with heavily stocked SPS? That is INSANE. I've got the 9430 on a 150 now, and run it about 40% (very wet, SPS bare bottom). I can't wait to see one of these in action.

edit* - also, just placed my order for parts

The new pump and some internal changes to the baffling makes a foam that is pretty much like a champagne foam, it is extremely fine.
