Copperband thin or just just me

I really don’t know…I feed the tank with freeze dry mix of stuff for the entire tank. It’s a mix of everything almost like reef jerky from avast. I do have a crap ton of aptasia in my sump and almost none in the display so I am assuming he eats them.

Yes, it’s thin. Mine eats and eats and I struggle to keep it plump.

More feeding multiple times per day with meat, clams salmon, spirulina and brine and prepared food for carnivores

Yeah definitely thin. Echoing the advice that more frequent and heavier feedings will help it keep weight on!

IME most of them won't touch dried food. Frozen foods like Mysis, Reef Frenzy or Rod's are a much better source. They will keep Aptasia but likely not enough in the long run.

Yup, thin. Frozen LRS in a mesh feeder resulted in a very fat copperband for me. I also feed live worms.

Dry food and copperbands? nope! Got to do better then that.

I have about 5 sheets of that, I just don’t use them, I’ll go back to that to

many brands but something like this, you just put a chunk in frozen and let them pick.

They may have to figure it out though...

Ah okay, he is a very curious lil dude. He is always first to swim to me when I have my hands in the tank so we shall see. I’ll get something on order and give it a go

Mine will only eat frozen. I feed a mixture but PE mysis seems to be thier favorite. It has been a staple in the diet of all my fish for years. My CBBs won't touch pellets or flake. They also love live black worms and white worms. Mine also love small earth worms but my naso does also and she is the biggest fish in the tank so she gets most of them. View attachment 3918184

EDIT : Will yours compete for food in the water column? I think getting them to compete is important to long term success.

He doesn’t take a lot of crap from his tank mates and is very active. I just never did a lot of frozen food and I hydrate the food with the avast food plank thingy. Never really noticed. Anyways will try frozen with him. I do know when I got him the FS stated he was eating mysis shrimp so might get some on order
