I've been wanting to get a CBB for a while now and a LFS has one in Stock but according to LA they may nip or harass bubble tip anemones. Has anyone exert experienced this?

Also any extra care techniques for keeping them would be appreciated.

Thanks.

They can be quite contrary and the most important thing is to get them to eat. Is it eating at the LFS? If so that increases your success rate by 80%.

I haven't actually been to the store was just told it's in Stock. I as a rule make the LFS feed the fish before I purchase.

a couple thing you can do is pick up some small feather worms they love to eat them also the new lrs food works wonders on CB...highly recommend...I have never seen any of the three CB I have pick on a anemone...they do pick on some LPS especially if you add it after the fish is in the tank they like to taste them...GL

Of the three that I have had, none have eaten flakes or pellets, but all chowed down on mysis. It is all that the one I currently have (about 5 years old) will eat. I have never seen any of them bother anything but aiptasia. May have been lucky there.

+1 to LRS, best food on the market IMO. Do they continue to nip at the LPS even after getting a taste, has it become an issue?

Picked one up 2 weeks ago. After the first night, it began eating mysis and now it eats like a pig! It also ate up all my aptaisa (WHich is why I got him). I am now aptaisa free with a gorgeous fish :)
Also, it has not bothered anything else besides eating the aptaisa.

Hope this helps

agree with the advice above...flip a coin on this fish..the majority of deaths on this fish is due to starvation, so make sure it eats in your presence..I have not had any issues with them picking LPS, but I feed 3-4X a day.
