I have been thinking about getting a Copperbanded butterfly fish. I realize that they are not reef safe but I want one so that it can eat my ball anemones. I heard that they usually have a low successes rate in the aquarium. So is their anyone with a success?

I purchased one this week and my hippo tang and clown fish killed him in a matter of hours. If you have established fish, check their aggression level before adding one.

Getting them to eat can be difficult, however ordering live black worms is simple and they can't resist them. After getting them to eat the worms slowly transition them to a quality food such as LRS. They're very timid fish and don't do well with confrontation.

I have 2 CBB in my tank... full sps never bother anything.. one eat majano and aiptesia . Great fish to have....
