I could use some advice on if there are any unknown or strange issues regarding splicing extra cabling into a Neptune core pump. I am recabling and moving my power control zone further away from the main. I am very capable of splicing the smallest of wires. I buy existing extension cables when I can find them. Like for my quiet drives And my radians. But there are no extension cables for the Neptune COR pumps.
It’s just a cable, maybe it has wires of different gauges, but it shouldn’t be rocket science. Except for the fact that I don’t want to destroy this pump. I would just hurry up and do it. Or TRI. But if somebody out there has some experience doing this I would appreciate hearing about it.
I do have a Quiet drive vortech pump as my emergency replacement/back up pump. So if I totally F this up, I could always switch over to that. But I’d rather not. Anybody ain’t got any advice?

Just match the guage and you're fine. I've been doing it for years to all sorts of pumps, to include my MP60s. Just know that you will void your warranty.

Thank you! done and working. A little bit spooky cutting open the carotid artery for my system with the assumption that I could stitch it back together. Worked!
