Just wanted to show off my coral beauty pair. I initially started with one for about 6 months. Then I added a second one I got in a tank breakdown in a breeder box for a month. After the aggression/interest died down for about two weeks I added the second to the tank.
I’m assuming I got lucky and they are opposite sexes, is the reason they are getting along. Video linked as well.

Wow that's something you don't see very often, I've possibly only seen pairs of coral beauty angels on two or three occasions, have you seen any spawning behavior?

To me, they don’t look too paired up in that video. If they do they should follow each other…, maybe there are more videos.

So far that’s been their behavior, they’ve only been together a month. I’m hoping they do get intimate as time passes.

Has anyone else documented breeding them? I’d be interested in knowing if I can help spur this along.
I’m mostly just excited to see them together in my tank though, I’m not a breeder so no big deal if they don’t. But being able to share captive breed coral beauties would be something.
I watch their progress and share if so.

I think angels are usually solitary & will only pair up during mating season…, so I’m not sure how long these two will be able to stand each other.

I was concerned this may happen. If they do get aggressive I’ll remove one, hopefully in time before anything bad happens.
