I do not believe they are bleached, it appears they are are dead.
The goniopora for example does not show any flesh inside the skeletal polyps
The montipora had algae growing on the skeleton, and this would not happen on living sections of coral
Can you get closer pics with white lighting?
Your salinity is way low, alk is to high, magnesium way low. Your tank looks way to dark so I'm guessing your par is way low too. You need to do more research and educate yourself to the hobby. My tank is 120 Gallon tank. Its a 4x2x2 feet dimension.
Its been 2 months of set up. Plus i do weekly ammonia , nitrate and phosphate testing.
I have 3 - 60 Watt led light which i run for 10.5 hour period . The blue and royal blue is at 60% max and white is 25%.
Current water parameters-
Salinity - 30 ppt
Ammonia - 0.15 mg/L
Nitrate - 5 mg/L
Phosphate - 0.1
Calcium - 400
Alkalinity - 12
Magnesium - 1170
Plus i run a Chiller Hailea 500 at 25-26 degree celsius
Okay. I will do more research. But can you help me with the percentage of blue , white and Royal blue channels . And also the photoperiod !! Like what instensity to set ??Your salinity is way low, alk is to high, magnesium way low. Your tank looks way to dark so I'm guessing your par is way low too. Same with gonioporaYou're not going to be successful with SPS in a 2 month tank.
What brand and model is the 60w lights ?Okay. I will do more research. But can you help me with the percentage of blue , white and Royal blue channels . And also the photoperiod !! Like what instensity to set ??
As a general basic guide you want blue and UV at 100% .with whites, red and green at 25%. You want par 300 to 400 top of the tank. 150 to 250 mid tank and 75 to 150 at the bottom.Okay. YesShould i remove the dead corals from the tank ??
