Coral dip, black or clear container

Hey guys, going to dip a coral for the second time. I have had it for a year and a bit, I put it through hell and back, it was my first sps when I was relatively new. I have about 20 sps in my tank now with, homewrecker, RR fuzzy naval, RR jawdropper, RR orange passion, just to name a couple. This no name 'tri colour's has been slowly dying from the base up.

My question is, should I dip in a black container to see if there is any parasites, or a clear container?

Non of my other corals are effected and everything is showing massive growth and colour, so I am confused why this one all the sudden has been dying over the past few months.

I dipped it once about a month ago but didn't inspect the solution. (amature I know) so it is time to do it again.

Life cycle is usually a week or two, so I would suggest dipping every week for a month. I just use a bluish Tupperware container. But inspecting for bites or eggs is probably the best way. If you have enough to frag, take some frags and throw away the dead part.

I use clear containers and look up through the bottom to see results.

I use white containers, so easy to see everything.

I used a clear container, believe it or not nothing came off, no eggs, now worms. I think it is just a disease or something
