When you say morph. Do you mean good or bad? I'm thinking mean bad and that's the reason for the consistency of the lights to begin with.It wouldn't kill them to do this during the day; set it from white to blue for a couple minutes of awesomeness then set it back! Totally harmless. Also, the more you change your light, the more chance that your coral could morph (intensity wise, I believe).
theres little to no red in the ocean. Its the first color to disappear.Has anyone tried to grow anything under pure red light?

some corals def change color due to higher light. some from color of light. Some because its thursday and your late for work and they thought it would be funny to see your face as you run out the door.

At this time I'm getting good signs of coraline coming in that my biggest fear right now is to change too much and lose that. But obviously I haven't got it all right just yetMind you, I keep at 55% to keep algae down.
