These are growing at a fast rate attached to some live rock we got when we started the tank. Not sure if they are palys or zoas of some sort. Any help ID'ing these? Thanks

Those are either zoas reaching for light, or palys, if the latter they carry what some of us believe to be significant risk (Palytoxins).

With the purple/red color they look like zoas starving for light (zoas can also carry palytoxins, but not nearly as common).
