Hoping this is in the right spot. This was on a piece of rock. It has grown very rapidly. Started out about a half centimeter now its the size of a dime. It looks like a mushroom. But not sure.

Maybe a plate coral?

I was thinking maybe also, but its soft, and doesn't have any hard structure at this size, it is also connected to that coral bone. But yeah, never seen a plate "baby" before.
