Hi All,
Love this place, thanks to everyone in the community. Everyone has been an awesome help. So, yet another question :) ... So I bought a new coral today from the LFS. Sold as an Acroporia; after a few hours I am starting to think montiporia ... best Pic I can get so let me know what you think. Thanks to you all.

Based on the pic, I would tend to agree with you.

Looks like cyphastrea to me.

Looks like an acro to me. It is definitely not a monti. Some acros want to encrust a lot before growing branches. Species is hard to tell though without a better pic and more structure.

+1 For acropora. Has a bansai look to it.

Which would make it acropora valida. However, the color alone can’t give us the species. Though that would be my guess based on the little bit we can see.
