What do.the letter and number mean on some corals? E.g t5 or t9 etc

T5 is a type of bulb.

Some of the acronyms you see such as JF, ORA, TSA, BC, etc are the companies that first brought that particular strain to market.

T5 is lighting. T stands for tubular and the number 5 x 1/8" is diameter of bulb
