Hi, I currently have a predator reef with soft corals and I'm wondering if there are any larger puffers like porcupine and stars and stripes (no tobys like Valentini etc) that are safe with coral.

To put it simply no unfortunately there really isn’t a large puffer you could trust in a tank with corals. Sure somebody might get lucky with one but in general it just isn’t going to work. Puffers are always munching on something with that beak and won’t discriminate between your corals or anything else.

ARE YOU READY TO CONFESS TO CRAZIEST, DUMBEST, FUNNIEST THING YOU’VE EVER DONE IN REEFING?
