I'm relatively new to the hobby only having a tank for about 9 months. I currently have a 54 gal corner tank and looking for some ideas of unique/colorful coral to add. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Acans, Zoas, Palys, Favia, certain Torches, Hammers, Frogspawn (depending on the type and color, because to me they look pretty similar).

Palys, Zoas and Leathers are easy to care for. The LPS are a bit tougher, need alot more light can some need target feeding.

What are you using to light your aquarium? Target feeding is less complicated than it sounds. Not to downplay what RM posted but if you have any sort of decent light source and a well fed and properly maintained tank (good steady numbers) you should be fine.

Softies and Zoas, Leathers you'd have to put up higher in the tank, using those LEDs.

I found that the acan lords, which are lps, are super easy for me, and I'm new to corals. I also have Florida ricordea which are very easy. Zoas are easy too except when they're not, lol. Some are super hardy and some don't do well for no reason I can figure out. I never buy designer ones for that reason. The cheap ones are pretty too and great for the learning curve! Gsp's are also easy. Good luck!
