I have a JBJ 65 that i've been filling with frags...Now a year in and the frags are encroaching on each other.

I have a green monti cap that is about a quarter inch from the main 'trunk' of an acro frag. In this scenario, when the monti touches the acro, either the monti will encrust the acro, or the monti will receded back a little bit. Who wins here?

The other is a red monti cap that is just touching a branch of my stylo. What's going to happen in this case?

I don't want the acro or stylo to die. If they can fight back the monti and keep it at bay, that is perfect.

What does the future hold for me

In these circumstances I would keep an eye out for shading or engulphing of neighbors but I wouldn't expect these corals to kill one another on contact.

This why I have a no monti rule. They destroy everything in their path. Sorry your going through this. I had a reverse Superman that was gorgeous. It killed everything!! Even other montis. Chisel it back as best you can.
