Got up this morning and something immediately caught my eye In the DT. A very bright florescent Orange something on the edge of an WWC Ice Breaker Acro Frag. It doesn’t look like coraline. The Frag is encrusting on the rock fairly quick and it is a very lite greenish white with a blue edge. There is nothing else in the tank the fluoresces bright Orange. Can’t figure out what it might be. The Frag has been in the tank for a little over 4 months and has encrusted on the rock around the plug. Today is the first time I’ve seen this bright Orange spot. Any ideas? Sorry about the photos. Best I could do.

Looks like coralline that is dying. It fluoresces when dying.
Would the Frag be causing that as it encrusts over the coraline? It’s starting to accelerate in its growth onto the rock.

Could be but, I’m not exactly sure on what would be making it die. Makes sense that the frag encrusting near it would be killing it.
