Corals are not thriving

Hello,

Im looking for a little help. A lot of my SPS like my red digi, pink monti cap, purple stylo and even a goni and torch seem to be slowly dying. I do 20% water changes every two weeks. And dose KALK to maintain my ALK/CA and Ph. Nothing seems to be growing or thriving. The tank is a 90 gallon set up for over a year.

Stability has been my goal but I am getting algae growth on the rocks and on my sps corals.

Temp: 79
Salinity: 1.026
PH: 8.2
ALK: 8.4
CAL: 430
MAG :1280
Phosphates: 0.00 ( I dose 2ml of phosphates daily)
Nitrates: 10.3

Redsea 90 Lights are only running 60% for 4 hours then 40% the rest of the day

2 AI Nero’s 3600 gph of flow

Probably best to borrow a par meter to check how much PAR you're getting out of the lights (disclaimer/spoiler, I used to own it and I was so under-par). Next is the phosphate, has to be detectable above 0.00. Otherwise the corals may be starving. And if that's the case, if those algae happens to have bubbles, they may be dinos.

The best sign I got from my tank that's it's ready to handle sps was that I was getting coralline algae which I didn't before. Any coralline algae in the setup?

If everything else is OK, I think your phosphates being consistently 0 is what is doing it. I would dose more until you get at least a couple days of some kind of phosphates being present if it's not moving. The corals are dying a slow death of starvation.

So the par is pretty even about 100-120 across all the corals. I borrowed a par meter from my LFS. The phosphates have where most of my attention has been. I does daily and feed reef chilis about once a week, but I assumed all this was contributing to the small fur like algae covering all of the rocks. The tank is bare bottom with coraline starting to grow on the bottom glass.

SPS like high par though (250-500 and beyond depending on the acropora??). That par range is for softies, mushrooms, zoas and LPS that are not euphyllia (acans, etc).
