Corals on clam rock?

I’m using one of those “clam jammer” clam rocks for a small crocea clam that seems happy so far. The rock is big for it but I’m hoping it grows and fills it out eventually.

Would it be a bad idea to put some slow growing corals (thinking favites maybe but not sure about stinging potential) on the edges of the rock? I was also thinking zoas but it might grow too fast and take up space for the clam
