Corals stop growing

Could it be possible that lowering the intensity of my lights stop my sps from growing? I have a orphek v4 over a reefer 250. My acros started to get really pale and some tips started turning white but still had flesh. All the corals were growing fast even though they lost their color. I lowered the white intensity from 100 to 70 on channel 1 and 70 to 40 on channel 4. The ones that had burned tips have recovered and the color is coming back fast. They are starting to look amazing but they are not growing. I noticed also my alk was locked in a 8.4 for several months without moving and now its reading 8.8 and my calcium has went from 460 to 500. Will the corals get used to the new spectrum and start growing again?

As a generalization the whiter light grows the coral and the bluer light create fluorescence, so yes - you could try increasing your photoperiod. is your mag really 330?
