Check out this cool dragon face pipefish I saw online!

I wish they could breed or sell these...
It comes from the red Sea.
Anyone who has them with these colors?

I thought for a second these were your photos, haha. I think some people on here have pipefish, but I don’t see them often

They do sell them...I've seen tanks overflowing with them. They eat copepods like other pipe fish.

Super cool. Wonder of any vendors sell this.

Yes I know I just meant with these colors I don't believe it's for sale.
I think these are available in California LFS but I can swear to that, my eyesight may be tricking me?

Time to go search…

I checked Reef Lounge. If you know of a place in Cali selling these, I'm all ears. Super cool looking.

I will keep my eyes open but based only upon Google results they do not seem to be available. Sometimes a fish is available but the wholesalers don’t see a demand, or they don’t ship well, or they aren’t worth the costs/ price to import.

I’m gonna ask around and see what I might learn. I’m too lazy to see up a tank for them but who knows, I might get motivated, otherwise it’s just fun to be on the hunt.

Other name I found was Cheeked Pipefish, from the Red Sea as mentioned above. If it is like other dragon faced pipefish, even in full flow SPS tanks it should be ok.
