1) I want to relocate where the kalk enters my sump. I use Geo Algae Reactors. Does it matter if I run my kalk through my algae reactors CARX port? The only thing that has me asking is that the ph that will drip down on the algae will be 12.

2) what’s the longest you left the slurry in your kalk mixing reactor? I recently switched from BRS to Captiv8’s Kalk. My ph has dropped off quickly. I was 12.4 - 12.2 the first 2-3 weeks, now in the last week I’ve gone from 12.2 to 11.10. It looks like I have about an inch of slurry in my reactor still, but I think it must just be spent? My PH over night seldom goes below 8.25 I hit 8.00 last night. I’ll have to calibrate today also.

Thoughts?

I would not do it. You will get precipitation inside your reactor and make a mess of it over time, probably not healthy for the algae either. Kalk should be dripped as far away from equipment as possible.
